WELCOME to 2024 everyone. What a fabulous year this is going to be.
I recently read a book that made a statement I have always believed to be SO true. “The world around us only exists because we choose to focus on it”. In other words – whatever you decide to focus on becomes prominent in your mind. This applies to both good and bad thoughts. What a relief to know that in this new beginning we can indeed have some control over what we ultimately end up feeling.
So 2024 has some new and exciting focus points for us. We will once again be reviewing and updating all our course materials to ensure that we remain completely relevant and on the cutting edge of Indoor Cycle training both locally and globally. Our efforts this year will be to try and include and cover some more of the latest trends in Indoor Cycle. Whilst these are often temporary they still remain pertinent to our spinning community.
Our second focus is to deepen and expand our relationships with some of our key markets like Virgin Active South Africa and many our club chains across the country. In addition to this we would also like to grow our long time partnerships with our sponsors like Biogen.
We look forward to hosting our first course for 2024 on the 3rd and 10th of February at our host club Moove Motion Fitness in Sunninghill Johannesburg. If you have always wanted to enjoy your own music and set your own tempo in the spin class then maybe it is time for you to become a qualified instructor. The cost is R3250 per person and you will be actively involved in 2 days of training. After that you can expect to earn from R200-R350 per class. It’s not that bad to get paid to exercise… Plus you usually get a free gym membership at the club at which you are instructing.
So, let’s get out there and make this year the BEST one EVER!
